One of the first keys to starting any sales and marketing programing is to determine your target market is creating a list. Once you determine your target market you can then pull trade journals, social groups, and other sources relative to that market to begin the foundation of your list. List brokers would sell you various lists that may or not be accurate. Sometimes we have found old lists that are fairly relative still. The larger the business that you’re targeting the better chance that the older numbers are still good, you can make an introduction call and potentially find a name of the key person you are looking for. Company names would change but the facility and phone numbers usually stay the same. Another source of list is to go visit with the individuals that you may know that are in that target market. Once you have a list created use it.
